Calling all hippies, wooks, phish sticks, and dead heads: High Sierra Music Festival in Quincy, California has announced its initial lineup, and well, it does all fans of jam bands real, real proud. The festival welcomes it’s 26th year in Jerry-inspired heaven, and gives yet again, the High Sierra Music mainstay something to be happy about. The typical Fourth of July weekend event takes place the weekend before from June 29th to July 2nd 2017.
Ticket buyers can expect the messiah himself, Trey Anastasio, with his sidereel “Trey Anastasio Band” as one of the uber cool headliners. While the full lineup remains still shrouded in mystery, comedians on the High Sierra Music Festival official Facebook page post, in lieu of the holiday season, “Music plays, are you listening[?]/Get away, glitter’s glistening/We’re happy to say,/It’s a beautiful day/Walking in a High Sierra wonderland.
