Fans of Bon Iver find solace in the Irish music festival, Forbidden Fruit, for the “flume” has opened itself up and dazzled the festival’s 2017 bill as BI take over as the headlining act. Additionally, Bon Iver mastermind, Justin Vernon, has been dubbed the music “curator” for the event’s three-day party (uh, let’s move past the word choice, here).
The event is sponsored by Bulmers Irish Cider, and while no word of whether or not Vernon himself is a fan of ye olde spirited beverage, the artist has chosen some pretty impressive acts to play alongside him from June 3rd to 5th of the new year. Flying Lotus peaks at one of the names announced for the festivities. Concert-goers are promised an “amazing” 3-D experience from the LA-based producer.
According to the festival, “We to return for our seventh installment on the June Bank Holiday Weekend, 3rd – 5th June 2017. A unique city centre festival that combines music, spoken word, art, fashion, food and simple good vibes on the grounds of the Irish Museum Of Modern Art, The Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin. Bon Iver will be curating the Bank Holiday Monday only, and there will be more acts to be revealed soon! ”
While the mystery still stands for the remaining two days leading up to Vernon and co.’s performances, its hard to imagine anything but an above-par schedule of artists. Find tickets for any of the three days (or all three) right here.
