Sharon Jones Memorial in Brooklyn on 12/14

A memorial service for Grammy-nominated soul singer Sharon Jones will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 6 p.m. at Brown Memorial Baptist Church in Brooklyn. Friends, family and fans of the Dap-Kings singer are invited to show their respects. Another memorial has been scheduled in her hometown of Augusta, GA, and in lieu of flowers it’s asked to make a donation to The Lustgarten Foundation, James Brown Family Foundation & Little Kids Rock.
