Faith No More frontman Mike Patton is Dead Cross’ new member, as the singer was just added as the supergroup’s lead singer. Patton will be among fellow greats, as Slayer and Suicidal Tendencies’ drummer Dave Lombardo and Retox’s Justin Pearson and Michael Crain.

The band parted ways with lead singer Gabe Serbian earlier this year after he left the group, but the minor set back isn’t slowing them down. After the addition of Patton, Dead Cross is working on their debut album which will be released sometime in 2017 via Ipecac Recordings. Make sure to be on the lookout for what is sure to be an epic creation by some of metal’s best artists.

Dead Cross released the single “We’ll Sleep When We’re Dead” in March of this year and remains their only single released since being formed in 2015. Now the metal world is anxiously awaiting the supergroup to drop their breakout album and bless our favorite playlists once again.

Mike Patton performed Virginal Co Ordinates at the Sacrum Profanum Festival in Krakow, Poland in October alongside Eyvind Kang for a wicked awesome show. Fan’s also got some insight on Patton’s music perspectives earlier this year when he and Ben Weinman interviewed each other. Click here to watch the 7-minute clip of the exclusive interview.

Dave Lombardo went on tour with Suicidal Tendencies and Megadeth earlier this year as their temporary drummer and exceeded fans’ expectations with outstanding performances. He was also featured as drummer on their September album Wolrd Gone Mad.
