Returning to Boise, ID, for its sixth year in a row, Treefort Music Festival is an annual music and arts festival that packs nearly 400 bands, film exhibits, art features, comedy shows, yoga sesions and much more throughout multiple music venues around the Downtown area.
Started in 2012, it began as a momentum extender for the local music and arts scene, providing the opportunity for Boise to be the host of some of the top musical talents recognized nationally and regionally, as well as showcasing the local up-and-coming talent the city has to offer. The festival quickly became proudly recognized in Boise as the 2015 and 2016 Cultural Ambassador, and is a Certified B Corporation.
Each year this festival has pushed the envelope and brought some of the most amazing talents to their stages, and this year is no different. Treefort excitedly announced their first round of musical performers that include plenty of marquee names from all over the music spectrum. Mac Demarco, The Werks, Marco Beneveto, The Growlers, WHY?, Deafheaven, and The Bouncing Souls are just a few of the incredible performances that will be expected at this year’s festivities.
Treefort Music Festival is set to kick off March 22nd-26th, and in order to get everyone excited, they have decided to share a hilarious promo video for the event directed by Boise Retrospcope Media. UPDATE 2/2/2017: Treefort Music Festival is happy to announce its third and final lineup release, featuring the last artists to round out the already bolstering lineup. Added to the lineup has been amazing artists that include Angel Olsen, Mark Farina, Chastity Belt, Buku, Xenia Rubinos, Nocturnal Habits, Magic Sword, SOL, Y La Bamba, Mimicking Birds, LAKE and plenty more, be sure to pick up your tickets before this huge lineup sells out.
