Fans of garage rock, soul, and rock n roll will delight in the stylistic approach Seratones take to their music. Earlier this year, the four pieces released their debut album Get Gone on Fat Possum Records; since that time, Seratones have been pleasing fans with their strong and energetic live performances, which have played a signifiacant role in their ability to garner record label attention.
Led by the frontwoman AJ Haynes, Seratones’ soul infused stylings could be attributed to her powerful, and passionate voice. The project initially started as a part time gig, with Haynes juggling her teaching career and her time as Seratones’ lead vocalist. As the groups popularity rose, they quickly caught the attention of the independant label Fat Possum Records– with the help of NERVS lead singer Deg Ronilo –and were signed soon after, landing a three-album deal with the label.
Seratones will be playing in January of next year at Stubbs– you can witness firsthand the incredible live shows that they’re known for.
