Deadmau5 has seen success on a level that many artists only dream of having one day. Internationally, he has seen a lot of success with songs like the most recently platinum certified “Ghosts ‘n’ stuff,” “Faxing Berlin,” “Sofi Needs a Ladder,” “I remember” and “The Veldt.” Perhaps the most prestigious award to receive in music, The Grammys, Deadmau5 has received 6 nominations in recognition for their success in the electronic music world. They it also doesn’t hurt that they performed at the 54th annual Grammys awards. He has also won multiple Juno Awards during their widely celebrated career which is why it is no surprise that the excitement of Deadmau5 fans is currently at an amazing level due to their recent announcement.
Deadmau5 has announced that on December 2, 2016 he will release his highly anticipated sixth studio album “W:/2016ALBUM/” (pronounced as ‘w drive 2016 album’). This will his first release as a solo artist via his own record label mau5trap.
He has been active recently having collabortated with Kaskade for the release of the video “Beneath With Me” . Also, he has been active on the touring circut performing at Ultra Japan, the Light All Night festival , and Free Press Summer Festival.
Born in Canada, Deadmau5, real name Joel Zimmerman, sets himself apart from other artists by constantly staying dedicated to the craft of making music, largely why he has been this successful. He has released 5 critically acclaimed albums “> album title goes here>”, which landed at number 1 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart, number 2 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart, and number 5 on the digital albums chart. The album “4×4=12” was recently recognized for selling 500,000 records copies in the United States which officially makes it certified gold. He recently became the first electronic DJ to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine marking another milestone in his already successful career.
