Roger Waters Announces Fall 2017 Tour Dates

Roger Waters, the vocalist and lyricist for Pink Floyd, has recently announced the dates for a new fall tour in 2017. This tour will only play in the U.S and Canada.

The tour called “Us + Them”, which is a song from Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon. The tour will begin in Kansas City, Missouri and end in Vancouver, Canada. The tour dates are listed below. Before this tour announcement, Roger headlined at the Desert Trip festival and used the set as a attack to Donald Trump.

According to NME, the press releases had said that Rogers had said that he will perform the material “probably 75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme”. This old material will include songs created in the past during his time in Pink Floyd, while the new material is what he’s been working on through his solo career.

During the summer, Roger Waters had performed at Neil Young’s 30th annual Bridge School Benefit Concert.  This concert also included artists such as Metallica and Willie Nelson.
