LISTEN: Foxygen Releases New Song “America”

Foxygen, an American indie/rock band based California, has released a song called “America”, the first single released after the artist’s 2015 album called 24 Hour Lover Man.

In 2015, the duo played shows for their “Farewell Tour”, saying that this was their final tour, even though they played a show at the Desert Daze festival in California. But with this release of the new song, there may be a chance of a new album.

Accoring to Paste Magazine, this song depicts the disasters in America rather than the accomplishments gotten. To show these lyrics the song speaks “If you’re already there, then you’re already dead. If you’re living in America, whoa. Our heroes aren’t brave, they just got nothin’ to lose, because they’re all living in America, whoa”. The duo, Sam France and Jonathan Rado, have created this song with unsympathetic lyrics mixed with a blissful 34 piece orchestra.

The song can be listened to below.

Around a year ago, the duo released a new song called 24 Hour Lover Man for their album 2015 album.
