High school buds Anthony Kiedis, Michael Balzary, and Hillel Slovak formed the band back in 1983, however back then the were know as “Flea”. Each boy had different interests back in highschool Kiedis focused on poetry, while Balzary and Kiedis honed in on the guitar and trumpet. Eventually Anothy Kiedis turned his written word to music as the other two boys began picking up the bass. After they created “Tony Flow & The Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem” , with another drummer friend they found their punk rock sound and experienced performing live.
The band is now made up of Michael Balzary, Chad Smith, Josh Klinghoffer, and Anthony Kiedis. They have maintained their rock sound as well as their crowd grabbing spirit. Check out their music down below:
