The Power of Riff and Southern Lord record label collaborate to organize a festival with prominent artists such as Neurosis, and Wolves in The Throne Room.
This two-day festival will kick off with American black metal band,Wolves in The Throne Room on Saturday, December 17th. The band first came together in 2003, when brother Nathan and Aaron Weaver formed their band. The band stresses their use of vintage amplifiers and equipment to keep their musics energy raw and ‘on their own terms’. The musicians have also previously stated that Neurosis has played a part as some of their inspiration.
Neurosis which is a post metal band, members of the band include Scott Kelly, Dave Edwardson, Jason Roeder, Steve Von Till, and Noah Landis. They started out as hardcore punk, but,then between 1995 and 1996 they transitioned to post-metal. Then in the 2000s they also created their own record label Neurot Recordings .Over the years the group has earned a huge fan base. You’ll immediately join the fan base after hearing them below.
