Kanye West Announces New Album Cruel Winter For Early 2017 Release

According to Pitchfork, last Friday on “.wav radio” Travis Scott debuted his album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, during the debut he announced that he is the executive producer on notorious rap mogul Kanye West‘s upcoming G.O.O.D Music compilation album Cruel Winter, the follow up compilation album to 2012’s Cruel Summer.

In a new Hot 97 interview, Scott revealed when the upcoming LP will be released, which is early next year, while at the same time claimed that every G.O.O.D Music artist. including Kanye, will be on the album, describing it as “very youthful, straight to the point, like the illest ever, man, like the illest album.”

In June, West had released the first song from the album, “Champions” featuring Travis Scott, Big Sean, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Migos’ Quavo, Yo Gotti, and Desiigner, to name a few who have made an appearance so far. If one song has that many young artists on it, what kind of lineup is in store for the rest of the new album, who else will they throw onto the LP to make it even hotter than ever?

Kanye just recently released Life of Pablo and already is on the verge of releasing another grand album. With a tour underway that still has a few stops to go, there does not seem to be a envelope this rapper cannot push.

Recently Kanye released his music video for “Fade“, and it featured G.O.O.D’s Teyana Taylor who just shared a new video of her freestyling over the new Cruel Winter track.

We can only wait and see what is to come next out of the crazy creative mind that is Kanye West.
