Kaskade is coming to DJ at STORY in Miami Beach on Friday, September 2nd. He’s been making great house tracks for years in a variety of different styles. With plenty of club hits and collaborations with other well known artists, Kaskade has left his mark in the EDM world over the years.
Kaskade is an American DJ from Chicago who has been active in the scene since the 90’s when he first started DJing. His music started to gain a lot of popularity and exposure around 2008 when he released his fifth album “Strobelite Seduction”. Two songs that he collaborated with deadmau5 on, “I Remember” and “Move For Me” were instrumental to this burst in popularity. Since then Kaskade has continued to create his own unique niche in progressive house. His tunes are often more chill than other house tracks you hear, they often times use a number of acoustic sounds with great singing. He is also a member of a few groups with other producers, including Late Night Alumni which I love. Take a listen to some tracks below.
Overall Kaskade is a very accomplished producer with a great sound. He is also one of the most innovative progressive house producers to come out of America. If you’re a fan of any of his music or just some good house you can dance to, this should be for you.
