Pink Floyd Announces Box Set The Early Years 1965-1972 For November 2016 Release

Pink Floyd is set to release box set “The Early Years 1965-1972” and it has a ton of cool features. According to Pitchfork, the box set is set to release to release a 27-disc box set on November 11th of this year. Pink Floyd has included over 25 hours of newly released material.

The material included in the set range from outtakes, to concerts and feature films. Specifically, 20 unreleased songs, 7 hours of unreleased live performances, 5 hours of concert footage, collectors memorabilia, BBC radio sessions, and more. According to the shop site, some of the unreleased tracks included are “Vegetable Man” and “In The Beachwoods” from 1967. Buyers will also receive 2 “Quad” mixes, and Pink Floyd’s early vinyls.

The box set will be delivered in a book style set separated into 7 volumes containing sets of years. You can purchase separator volumes starting 2017, but the whole set is available now starting for $550.  Check out details below.
