Jack White’s ,Third Man Record, have announced the release of a live Pearl Jam performance recorded last month in Nashville, TN. The live recording was the product of a secret show at Third Man Records’ Nashville Blue Room live venue.
With a intimate crowd of around 250 people, the Seattle rock legends, tore through 10 songs including classics like “Deep” from Ten , “Life Wasted” from their self-titled album Pearl Jam, and closed the set with “Let Me Sleep” , which was originally recorded in 1990 (and was the band’s first-ever Ten Club release). Pearl Jam also payed tribute to Pink Floyd, covering their song “Interstellar Overdrive”. Jack White himself even got in on this epic moment playing along to the song “Of The Earth” for the encore.
And all this happened two days before they were set to headline Bonnarro. Call it a warm-up or one of the most memorable and historic things to happen in seven years since the Blue Room opened its doors.

This year marked 25 years of Pearl Jam as a band. even after such an extensive career in music the band is still in the game. In a interview in March, with Popmatters, bassist for Pearl Jam Jeff Ament, discussed how the band plans to mark the occasion with the possibility of getting in the studio and “mess around a bit. With this years North American tour almost done, we might might see new music shortly.
