A former horse farm in Franklin, Tennessee is being transformed into a place of music and culture where festival patrons can enjoy the likes of Beck and the Violent Femmes performing on natural wood stages that reflect the rustic feel of the region.
Many of the acts will perform acoustically as well to emphasize the organic nature of the festival and the historic aesthetic of the city.
The festival debuted last year with a star studded lineup that included Willie Nelson, Wilco, Weezer, Sheryl Crow, Cage the Elephant, Band of Horses and Steven Tyler among others. This years lineup, the first wave of which is posted below, is no different and seems to have been curated with very special care.
Beck has been very popular lately, performing at fashion shows and various one off gigs as he works his way back into the full time touring circuit. The Violent Femmes have also been drawing rave reviews with their latest tour. The Arcs, led by Dan Auerbach, will bring their funky rock to a place where it will be right at home.
The festival will be taking place September 24th and 25th at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. In addition to the music, there will be plenty of local food and beverage that will no doubt be on par with the spectacular lineup. As mentioned above, this is only the first wave of the lineup, so look for more updates on that here.
Tickets are already on sale and can be found here.
