Coachella has been going strong this weekend with several noteworthy performances throughout the festival. Rapper T.I. took the stage for a surprise performance with fellow rapper Anderson .Paak. T.I. added a new verse to Paak’s song “Come Down”, then Paak played a couple songs from Malibu. T.I. then performed “About the Money” and “Bring Em Out.” This year was Paak’s first year at Coachella, and he is sure to gain more fame and attention in the music industry after such an incredible performance. T.I. has been around since 1996 and so far he has released nine studio albums in the span of his career, Paperwork being his latest one back in 2014. The rapper is due to have his tenth studio album come out this year, called The Dime Trap. Seven of his albums have reached the top 5 of the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. Paper Trail, back in 2008, became his most successful album and was certified gold for first-week sales. It was also his third consecutive number one album.
Anderson .Paak is a bit more recent, making his way into the music industry around 2009. He released his debut album, Venice, in 2014 and also performed six songs on the famous album Compton by Dr. Dre, released last year. Paak has an apprenticeship with American rapper and record producer Dre as well. Paak then went on to release his second studio album, Malibu, in January of this year.
