Delorean Announce New Album Muzik For June 2016 Release

Spanish alternative dance band Delorean have announced via Exclaim and social network the release their new studio album Muzik through PHLEX, which is scheduled to hit the record shelves this upcoming June. To help support this announcement the band released the title track “Muzik” on Soundcloud in order to give their fans a preview of things to come.

Composed of vocalist and bassist Ekhi Lopetegi, Tomas Palomo rocking the guitar, Unai Lazcano on keys, and drummer Igor Escudeo; they created the band in early 2000 in order to explore their mutual interests, from the local punk rock scene to electronic music, however in 2007 Palomo was replaced in 2007 by Guillermo Astrain which now remains the band’s official cast of musicians.

The group’s has not released a studio album since their last LP Apar, released over three years ago. Even though the band released their recent single “Crystals” last year, Muzik is the most recent full length album to come out of the Delorean creative minds.

The Barcelona quartet are bringing the fire with their unique Balcearic pop explosion, previewing the title track off the new album and revealing what fans can expect from the new music. Co-produced by the band and Pional, this gently pumped, house-dabbling single certainly feels like the band has been working tirelessly to produce genuine strong new tracks.

With this new album being released on June 22nd, one can only suspect that a big tour will follow in order to support their newest LP.
