New York five-piece indie pop Lucius will be in town performing at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood on May 5, celebrating the release of its latest album “Good Grief,” which was released in March. The album peaked at number 92 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band has been notably praised for its unique style, charisma, and charm. and its latest release encapsulates all that and more.
The band’s progress began when lead singers Jess and Holly crossed paths while at college in Boston more than 10 years ago. Wolfe and Laessig discovered that their voices together in unison brought out an amazing sound, where they reflected off each other to build an echo chamber where they occupy each other’s headspace. Lucius started making music and hasn’t stopped since.
