New York-native rockers LCD Soundsystem have announced an intimate warm-show at the Fox Theatre Pomona this Monday, and tickets are on sale now! Limited tickets can be purchased online and the rest will be distributed to four local record stores, including Amoeba Hollywood, Permanent Records in Echo Park, Fingerprints in Long Beach, and the Glass House Record Store in Pomona.
LCD Soundsystem is definitely back from the dead, having announced the release of a new album in 2016 and also headlining this year’s Coachella. The band is returning after playing its last show at Madison Square Garden in 2011. Principal member James Murphy has been keeping himself busy in the meantime by working on Arcade Fire’s “Reflektor,” contributing music to Noah Baumbach films and even opening up his own wine bar. Now with plans to reunite with original members intact, LCD Soundsystem shocked fans when it released its first single in five years this past December titled “Christmas Will Break Your Heart.” Check out the song here:
