Orange County native Manic Hispanic will be performing at The Roxy on May 6. The punk rock/Chicano band is a supergroup made up of former and/or current members of The Adolescents, The Grabbers, Punk Rock Karaoke, The X-Members, 22 Jacks, Final Conflict, Agent Orange, Death by Stereo and The Cadillac Tramps. The band is a side project that has issues two albums consisting of covers from bands such as Black Flag, X, The Stooges, the Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys and more, often with re-interpreted lyrics to be more at home with the band’s Mexican heritage and cholo-style.
