Philadelphia-native hip-hop and indie music star RJD2 will be performing at the Teragram Ballroom on April 8. The veteran producer is owner of record label RJ’s Electrical Connections and his 2016 album “Dame Fortune” sees him delving into a soul-felt territory while keeping his trademark playful charm. The album features guest vocalists Son Little and Phonte.

Each song in his repertoire is a different portrait of the world. But that’s not the producer is working on. The R&B and soul flavors were also found on the 2015’s “STS x RJD2,” an LP from the collaborative effort recorded with rapper STS.
