Wolf Parade Announces Summer 2016 Tour Dates

Wolf Parade has just announced a tour as well as a reissue of debut album as a deluxe edition.

Wolf Parade have just announced stop to their seemingly endless haitus to announce that they will be releasing a triple LP set that will feature Apologies to the Queen Mary and their pre-Apologies EPs. They also announced a tour to accompany this already exciting news on May 13 via Sub Pop records, according to Pitchfork. The new release will feature the album, Wolf Parade’s 2003 and their 2004 Eps, and track that has never been released before. The new track is called “Snakes and Ladder” and it has all the great quality sound that has made Wolf Parade so great. The reissue will also be available on cassete, however, the catch is that the cassete will not include the previously mentioned bonus tracks. The vinyl will come in either pink, blue, or a peach-color with Sub Pop’s Limited Loser Edition. The colored vinyl all look stunning and is worth the purchase for any fan’s collections. A track list for the reissues can be found below.

The tour is pretty short that the band will be embarking on and will only last four months. The tour will begin in May on the 17 New York, NY at the Bowery Ballroom, The band will then shoot over seas the majority of the tour to places like England and Finland and also to parts of Canada. The end of the tour will land the band back to the U.S. in Seattle, WA on August 7 at The Neptune. For a full list of tour dates and ticketing information, see below.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
