We Were Promised Jetpacks has just announced a North American tour that will take part starting this spring and will run all the way through summer.
If you don’t have any plans for this spring or even through for this summer, We Were Promised Jetpacks has just made you some plans. The band has just announced North American Tour that will last through this time. They will be accompanied by Tokyo Police Club through most of the dates but will separate for the bands New York City show, as reported by Brooklyn Vegan. The We Were Promised Jetpacks Tour will begin, however, in May on the 31 with headlining show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York, NY. The tour will end in Vienna, VA on July 2 at the Jammin’ Java as will also be a headlining show for the band. In between this start and finish, We Were Promised Jetpacks will play a bunch of different places though out North America including, Toronto, Des Moines, Denver, Los Angeles, Austin and Chicago just to name a few. Tickets will go on sale for the tour tis Friday at noon. However, for anyone with the card, as part of an American Express presale tickets will go on sale this Wednesday at noon too. To add to this excited touring announcement, We Were Promised Jet Packs is also goind to repress their out-of-print debut album, These Four Walls. This album was first released back in 2009 and they will have them available at the shows. The full album can be streamed via youtube below.
