XPoNential Fesitval @ BB&T Pavillion 7/22,23,24 (ft: Ryan Adams, Kurt Vile, Alabama Shakes, Gary Clark Jr)

The intial lineup for 2016’s WXPN XPoNential Music Festival has been announced, and this year is already proving to be better than ever. The even will run from July 22nd through July 24th and will take place at both BB&T Pavillion and nearby Wiggins Park. This year mark’s the event’s 12th year.

There are several ways to get tickets for this one (with all of the information over at xpnfest.org). First and foremost, you can become a member of XPN (at $25/month) to receive two complimentary 3-Day Go Everywhere Passes (which includes access to the shows at Wiggins Park as well as the shows at BB&T Pavillion).  Of course, tickets will also be available to the general public, both as 3-Day Passes, and Single Day tickets for BB&T Pavillion shows, as available.

At Wiggins Park, you’ll have the chance to see Father John Misty, Josh Ritter, The Districts, The Suffers, Low Cut Connie, and more (to be announced). And then there will be three ticketed events at BB&T Pavillion. The Friday (7/22) show will feature Ryan Adams, Kurt Vile and the Violators, and Tommy Stinson. Saturday’s show (7/23) features Alabama Shakes, Gary Clark, Jr, and Chicano Batman. And Sunday’s show (7/24) will showcase Brandi Carlile, Old Crow Medicine Show, and the newly formed case/lang/veirs. All three should be excellent shows, so you’ll definitely want to grab a three-day pass to enjoy all that the BB&T shows have to offer, in addition to the stellar artists being showcased over at Wiggins Park. Plus – stay tuned for more info from XPN as they announce more of the artists headed to this year’s XPoNential Festival.
