British electronica trio Years & Years will be performing at the Fonda Theatre on April 25. The show will be part of the upcoming Coachella Sideshows that are designed to showcase bands performing at Coachella in venues all throughout LA during the Coachella weeks. The band consists of frontman and keyboard player Olly Alexander, bass guitarist Mikey Goldsworthy, and keyboardist Emre Türkmen. The band’s single “Shine” reached #2 on the UK Singles chart. The band released its debut album “Communion” summer last year, debuted at number 1 in the UK. In the United States, the album debuted at number 47, selling 8,841 copies in its first week. The album sold over 1,000,000 copies worldwide and has taken up permanent residence in the UK top 20 – making it the fastest selling debut in 2015 from a UK signed band.
