Atlanta-native indie rock band Deerhunter will be performing with Unknown Mortal Orchestra at Pappy & Harriet’s on April 20 for the upcoming Coachella Sideshow. These sideshows will be going on throughout the weeks of Coachella to showcase the bands that will be performing at the big two-weekend event in different venues throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Deerhunter has released seven albums, the latest being “Fading Frontier” last year. The band’s first album was original intended to be a lo-fi experiment not intended for the wider world. Their second album is most commonly known as their real debut, and ever since then every album has been propelling the band to new heights. Ultimately, the garage rock, hazy vintage guitar sounds has defined them and they have a lot that’s left in store for all their fans.
Unknown Mortal Orchestra is an American and New Zealand rock band composed of singer, guitarist and songwriter Ruban Nielson, bassist Jake Portrait, keyboardist Quincy McCrary, and drummer Riley Geare. They have become synonymous with psychedelic sounds that go beyond all expectations to truly to take the listener on a mind-blowing, immersive experience. Be sure to catch these two amazing bands at pappy and Harriet’s on April 20!
