Bat For Lashes has just released a new song for the first time since 2012, when she released the Haunted Man, and it says a lot without words, Said Consequence of Sound.
The song “I Do” features a save the date card with the date July 1st, 2016 listed on it as if eluding to something real. Olongside of the card is a necklace that says Bride and a photo booth strip featuring her and her hidden Boe or otherwise “fiance”.
Born in Pakistan, Singer/Songwriter Natasha Khan moved to Hertfordshire England when she was five and lived there for most of her life. Her first Single from er project Bat for Lashes was released in 2006 and her first LP was produced in Septemeber of that same year. Her sencond album Two suns was realeased in 2009 and revolved around the concept of Khan and her blonde, hedonistic alter ego Pearl. Her third and most recent album: The haunted Man raised many eyebrowes because it depicts her nude on the cover of the album with a naked mad slung over her shoulders.
