Give Up the Ghost will be performing at the Echo on April 15 alongside The Trouble, Noomads and True Love, offering up a night of full hardcore madness. Give Up the Ghost (originally named American Nightmare) is a hardcore punk band from Boston consisting of Wesley Eisold, who performs his music under the name Cold Cave, Joshua Holden, Brian Masek, and Alex Garcia-Rivera. The post-hardcore group has released two studio albums in the early 2000s before breaking up and then reuniting in 2011. Since then, the band plays few shows throughout the year, so it would be wise to catch them at The Echo when they visit in April!
Also on hand is The Trouble, a Boston street-punk/hardcore group celebrating its 20th anniversary and its first show ever in California. Be sure to give them a warm welcome! For those looking for a sound that is truly deafening, enjoy Nomads, a group looking to break all the rules. Last but not least is True Love, a sound that is straight edge straight out of Detroit.
