First Fridays at the National History Museum will continue on March 4 with a performance by Lower Dens with Garden Villa. The First Friday admission for non-members are available for $18 and it grants access to the Museum after-hours, the guided tour, the scientist-led discussion, the DJ lounge, and the Concert Hall. For members, the tickets are free (while supplies last).
Lower Dens is an indie rock band forming in 2010 in Baltimore. They have released three albums, the latest being “Escape from Evil,” which was released last year. The dream pop staple has been causing a wave of enthusiasm across the pop world as their lush melodies and ambition to break new ground is making them a band to be reckoned with.
Also on hand will be Gardens and Villa. For Gardens & Villa songwriters Chris Lynch and Adam Rasmussen, a return to the very harmonious relationship of art/work/life was the main ingredient to their latest
release, “Music For Dogs.”
To enjoy the tour, discussion, and live music, be sure to head over to the National History Museum on March 4! The first Friday through June will be more exciting shows so check out what’s in store for the upcoming months!
