Indie rock band The Kills will be performing at The Mayan on April 18 with The Big Pink an LA Witch as part of the Coachella Sideshows – tickets on sale 2/5 at noon! Coachella will take place from April 15 to 17 and from April 22 to 24. Many of the bands performing at the festival will play sideshows in venues throughout Los Angeles including this one, and this one looks like it’s going to be a blast!
The Kills have been around since 2000 and consists of American singer Alison Mosshart and British guitarist Jamie Hince. The band’s latest album was “Blood Pressures” released in 2011 and it was promoted by four the singles “Satellite,” “Future Starts Slow,” “Baby Says” and “The Last Goodbye.” Check out one of the songs here:
Also on hand at the show will be The Big Pink, which also started as a duo but has since as a full-on electronic band. The noise pop/shoegazing band will also be joined by LA Witch, making this truly a night that should not be missed for all you indie fans out there!
