Iggy Pop and Josh Homme have just announced a tour that will begin in late March in support of their new collaborative album, Post Pop Depression.
A lot of news has been buzzing around Iggy Pop and Josh Homme’s secretly recorded new collaborative album. With a television performance on The Late Show and the release of two singles, “Gardenia” and “Break Into Your Heart,” the duo is finally ready to announce an extensive tour in support of Post Pop Depression. The tour is reported to begin sometime in late March of this year. However, according to Paste Magazine, there is a rumor that the tour could get started a little earlier than that.
On March 16 the duo, accompanied by Dean Fertita of Queens of the Stone Age and Matt Helders of Arctic Monkeys, will play a show at the Moody Theater. The show will then be a part of the Austin City Limits Live event by BMI and SAG-AFTRA. The actual release of Post Pop Depression will be two days after the show on Mar 16. Tickets for the show are not available online but there is an opportunity to score tickets by registering to attend SXSW and getting priority access. For a full list of tour dates see below.
