The Bacon Brothers Benefit Concert @ Union Transfer 2/4

Everyone loves live music. So why not combine that with an opportunity to support a great cause? On February 4th, Union Transfer will be hosting The Bacon Brothers. The event will be a benefit concert to help build the Viaduct Rail Park. The event is being hosted by The Center City District (CCD) and Friends of the Rail Park. The Bacon Brothers, are of course Philly natives Michael and Kevin Bacon. The event is in support of Phase I of the Viadcut Rail Park – an exciting new addition coming to our city, hopefully sometime soon.

General admission to the show is $35, but for $125, attendees will get access to a special VIP cocktail party prior to the event, which will feature an open bar, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, parking (which is always a great perk in this city), and exclusive mezzanine viewing.

Joining The Bacon Brothers on February 4th will be opening act, Rob Grote (of The Districts). Grote is a Philadelphia favorite, most notably serving as The Districts’ lead guitarist and vocalist. His band released their second full-length album early last year. It was a success, peaking at #7 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
