This May, The 1975 are headed to the Mann Center for a highly anticipated performance at the Skyline Stage. They’ll also be bringing along special guests The Japanese House. The Manchester quartet are headed out in support of their upcoming new release, I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it. The album, with the rather lengthy title, is due out on February 26th, via Dirty Hit and Interscope.

Fronted by Matthew Healy, The 1975 have released four EPs as well as their self-titled debut, which came out in 2013. It debuted to huge success, at number 1 on the UK Albums Chart. Their follow up, therefore, is highly anticipated and the guys recently released a new track, “The Sound,” which is currently available for streaming, or download. This is the third track from the album that has been released, preceded by “Love Me” and “UGH!”

Despite taking a while to release their follow up, the boys have remained constantly busy, with a steady stream of tour dates, that hit our area every year, usually in December. This May will be a welcome (outdoor) experience and this is likely to be a hugely popular event, especially among the younger crowd.
