Houston-native Jandek will be performing at The Bootleg Theatre on August 5. Jandek is the musical project of Corwood Industries, and has self-released over 80 albums/dvds of mostly folk and blues songs. He is known for not granting many interviews and only a handful of people claimed to have successfully contacted Jandek before he began regularly playing in public.
Jandek’s music is unique and the lyrics closely mirror the country blues and folk traditions of East Texas. He is a cult phenomenon and even though he has self-released an incredible amount of albums, he shows no signs of slowing down. Be sure to catch Jandek at the Bootleg Theatre in August!
