LA’s most extreme metal fest known as “Show Your Scars” will bring in the headbanging chaos this Saturday at The Regent, featuring grindcore and death metal bands such as Municipal Waste, Repulsion, Terrorizer, Ghoul, Gravehill, Night Demon, Skeletal Remains and more! The fun starts at 3 PM – tickets starting from $25.50.
Speed metal punks Municipal Waste will be headlining the festival, performing its album “Hazardous Mutation” in its entirety. They have amassed fans from the metal, punk and hardcore scenes with their infectious live appearances, and there’s no doubt the seasoned metal vets will be performing a show for the ages!
Michigan-native Repulsion have gone through numerous lineup changes and name changes dating back to its 80s inception, but since 1989 the band has received the exposure it deserves. With a trademarked style of lo-fi production, toned down guitars, machine gun drumming and apocalyptic themes ranging from zombie epidemics and nuclear wars, it’s no wonder metal fans have eaten everything the band has to offer. Repulsion will be performing its only show on the West Coast in 2016, so don’t miss out!
LA-native band Terrorizer will also be performing an album in its entirety – its first LP “World Downfall.” After the highly successful performance at Grindcore JP 2014, Terrorizer LA is looking forward to 2016 and beyond.
