Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville producer Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents states:
People thought I was crazy when I launched a festival in Jacksonville. This is my home town, so I ignored everyone, and we came out of the gate with a sold out event. To go from 10,000 tickets that first year to over 50,000 in 2015, and making this Florida’s biggest rock experience, I couldn’t be more proud to be a native of North Florida and to showcase my home town nationally. Welcome To Rockville has become one of rock’s most recognizable festivals, and it’s only going to get better.
Welcome To Rockville festival marks the return of Disturbed, who last performed in the 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. The heavy metal band recently announced that they will appear in the Rock Im Park Festival, headline in Monster Energy Fort Rock, South Florida’s largest rock festival, and perform in the largest German music festival Rock Am Ring, which spans three days and attracts worldwide acclaim for its unique variety of headliners, from heavy metal to rock.
The Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville festival features a massive lineup of the top rock artists. Headlining British rock band Bring Me the Horizon recently released their fifth studio album, That’s the Spirit , after unveiling a track from their album. Singer-songwriter Nikki Sixx of Sixx:A.M. promised that “there is so much to be excited for and we can’t wait to share the experience with all of you!”
