The Libertines have released their new video for “You’re My Waterloo”. The song comes off their latest album, Anthems for Doomed Youth.
The video was posted on their Facebook along with the caption: “Settle the fire at a full three bars this December. Dearest friends, followers, subscribers and survivors of Albion… we’re very pleased to premiere our brand new video for You’re My Waterloo, directed by Roger Sargent and Carl and featuring Freddie Highmore.”
The video was directed by co-frontman Caral Bârat and photographer Roger Sargent. The nostalgic romantic video stars Freddie Highmore and Marama Corlett. The couple stumble mischievously through the moonlit streets of London before getting into an argument.
The band cancelled some tour dates back in September due to reported anxiety attacks suffered by Pete Doherty. The band must be getting back on track since they have released new videos recently.
