Get ready! Thrash-metal-heavyweights, Slayer has just announced the tour dates for their 2016 tour in support of the band’s latest album, Repentless.
The sure-to-be-talked-about and heavily anticipated tour will begin thrashing across North America starting in mid-February. Slayer will be accompanied by fellow bands Testament and Carcass who are set to play all tour dates. With Slayer’s legion of loyal fans who have remained dedicated lovers of the band during its span of 30 years, this tour is sure to bring excitement among fans.
Whatever category you want to put Slayer in musically, it is undeniable that many, if not all, would consider them the definition of thrash-metal.With a wildly impressive career that has spanned decades, Slayer has proven to arguably be the epicenter for the sound that would shake any walls. They have proven themselves time and time again to be worthy of praise inside the music industry as well as outside among the fans. They have been recognized for their talents many times over. With recognition in the forms of Gold Records and Grammy awards, Slayer has proven their talent true which is incredible especially in the sense that they have remained true to a style of music that just never seemed to hold up in the mainstream.
The band’s latest album Repentless was released to high critical acclaim and holds the band’s highest chart debut in its career as stated in the press release.
