American pop band and LA-natives R5 will be performing at the Fox Theatre Pomona next year on January 29 supporting its latest release “Sometime Last Night,” which came out summer 2015. The band consists of a group of siblings who grew up in Colorado and they are definitely making a name for themselves. They’ve been performing, singing, dancing and acting, since they all could barely walk.
Most notably, the band has been recognized and nominated for numerous awards since starting up the band in 2009. They were nominated for several Radio Disney Music awards, including Best Music Group, and also nominated for Teen Choice Award and Young Hollywood Awards. R5 did win Best Band in 2014 from Radio Disney Music and Next Big Thing back in 2013. Their song “All Night” was a big sensation:
The band cites The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Presley and The Beach Boys as big musical influences.
