Ghost has just released a lyric video for their hit track “He Is” off of their latest album, Meliora.

Swedish metal band, Ghost, has just released a lyric video for their track “He Is.” The track is off of their latest release, Meliora, and has quickly become one of the most popular from the album. Very soothing and mellow, this track still holds the band to its emotionally powerful norm while still being one of their softer and beautifully darker songs. The video can be seen below.

The video goes brilliantly with its hauntingly gloomy song pairing. In a sort of mesmeric fashion the lyrics appear in an animated golden outer framing of what looks like a Great Gatsby themed movie trailer as the actual video is a black and white foggy display of lyrics over a circular moon shape and later a space and smoke animation. The video gives off a sort of classical werewolf feel that goes great with the band’s signature style at first and evolves into several different backgrounds that follow the journey that the song intends to take the listener on.
