Solo project starRo will be performing with Jarell Perry at the Lyric Theatre on February 5 next year. The track “Tainted” by starRo features Jarell on his new album “Emotion.” Check out the song here:
Guitarist, keyboardist, and producer starRo is a solo project of Downtempo, Folktronica, Hip Hop by Shinya Mizoguchi. Jarell Perry is known for mixing flavors of Electronic, Indie-Rock, and Pop, and has already drawn comparisons to cross-over heavyweights like Miguel and Frank Ocean.
Jarell’s “Simple Things” was a free download album that covered everything from love-gone-wrong to awkward moments, and the hum-drum of 9-to-5 day jobs. “There’s a song for every situation, you can take it as the soundtrack to your life at any moment,” says the LA-based singer-songwriter.
