John Legend and Kamasi Washington w/Red Hot Chili Peppers @ Silverlake Conservatory of Music Benefit Gala 10/17

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea and Anthony Kiedis have announced an exclusive gala and auction to benefit the Silverlae Conservatory of Music on October 17. The night will feature music by John Legend and Kamasi Washington as well as an acoustic set from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The event will be hosted in an un-disclosed Frog Town warehouse where 300 guests will enjoy a night filled with music and art.

The silent auction will feature works from English artist Damien Hirst, contemporary artist Jeff Koons, painter and photographer Rochard Prince, street artist and graphic designer Shepard Fairey and more. The benefit will be curated by Dana Louise Kirkpatrick, Flea and Deborah McCleod (Director, Gagosian Gallery).

The Silverlake Conservatory for Music was helped established by Flea. It was created to provide scholarships to children whose families would otherwise be unable to afford lessons. For more information, visit www.silverlakeconservatory.org.
