mxdwn PREMIERE: Corrections House Releases New Song “Superglued Tooth”

Metal band Corrections House has announced a new album for release in October 23, as well as a track from the album called “Superglued Tooth,” which is now available for online streaming.

The supergroup features Mike “IX” Williams of Eyehategod, Scott Kelly of Neurosis, Bruce Lamont of Yakuza and Sanford Parker of Minsk, with Seward Fairbury acting as their “minister of propaganda.” Corrections House was formed in 2012 and has released one LP, 2013’s Last City Zero. That album featured their single “Bullets And Graves,” and mxdwn even interviewed band member Lamont before it was released.

About a year after the album’s release, Corrections House announced that they would be touring the United States in November and December 2014. They ended up cancelling handful of those December tour dates, citing “overwork.” Something that may have sated some fansafter hearing that news was the band’s cover of Neil Young’s “Cortez The Killer,” an interesting song choice that was ultimately a winner.

Corrections House first announced their forthcoming album, Know How To Carry A Whip, in August 2015. They have already released track called “White Man’s Gonna Lose” from the new album and now we’re getting another taste of the new album’s sound two weeks before the album hits stores. Listen to the new track, “Superglued Tooth,” below.
