The Levitation Festival will take place in Austin, April 29 through May 1 of 2016. Brian Wilson will be performing the singles from the Pet Sound album that he did with the Beach Boys back in 1966. Even though Wilson is one of the headliners, other headliners include Animal Collective, Flying Lotus, Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Ty Segall.
The Levitation Festival will set placed in the Carson Creek Ranch in Austin and will include other artists: Caribou, Slowdive, Super Furry Animals, Boris, Dungen, The Black Angels, Sunn O))), Royal Trux, Oneohtrix Point Never, Shabazz Palaces, Lee Ranaldo, Ultimate Painting, Nicolas Jaar, Lee Scratch Perry, Sleep, Black Mountain, and Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats. The event will include three days of music and fun. Tickets are on sale for the event, but hurry or else they will be all gone. Some of the tickets include camper passes and rentals as well as deluxe upgrades for the upcoming event. The festival will return in the winter of next year.

Levitation is now known as the Austin Psych festival. The then Levitation festival was a music festival that was founded in 2008 by The Reverberation Appreciation Society. The now Austin Psych fest is innovative and captivating musicians and legends from the past, present and future to perform at their festivals. The Austin Psych fest has announced their lineup for their 2016 festival that will take place the 29 of April to the 1 of March. The lineup for this year includes new musicians such as Courtney Barnett and Holy Wave.

Levitation Fest as announced their full lineup for their 2016 festival. The tickets costs over one hundred dollars for the weekend and include new artists to their lineup such as Holy Wave. All bands have been listed based on the dates in which they will perform.
