Muse has announced its first US dates for its upcoming Drones Tour and it will be making a stop at Staples Center on December 18 with special gusts Phantogram! Muse is supporting Drones, released in June this year, which debuted at #1 on numerous charts around the world. The group aimed to return to the simpler guitar-bass-drums rock sound of their earlier albums.
The Drones World Tour will have the band performing from the middle of the arena. Once again, Muse is opting to ‘go big or home’ by pushing boundaries in terms of their stage production and the Drones World Tour will be no exception. This stage design and configuration will give fans a 360 degree audio/visual sensory experience. The band has just completed a spectacular Summer European Festival run which saw some of the best reviews of their career.
Since their debut in 1994, Muse has released seven studio albums selling upwards of 17 million albums worldwide. The band will continue to surprise and put on amazing shows, so be sure to check them out in LA in December!
