International superstars Major Lazer debut a new video for “Too Original” featuring Elliphant and Jovi Rockwell. The song comes off their critically acclaimed new album Peace Is The Mission.
Major Lazer, which is made up of Diplo, Walshy Fire and Jillionaire, are featured throughout the video but focusses mainly on Elliphant and Jovi Rockwell. The video takes place inside a restaurant where it shows everyone having a good time and dancing the night away. A cute boy steals the video towards the end when he shows off his impeccable dancing skills.
The video was directed by Tim Erem who worked with Major Lazer before on their global smash hit “Lean On” which featured DJ Snake and MØ.
The group was just nominated for two MTV European Music Awards for Best Electronic Act and Best New Song for “Lean On.” Peace Is The Mission reached #1 on the Electronic/Dance Album chart and debuted on the Billboard Top 200 chart at #12, marking the groups highest chart position to date. “Lean On” is Spotify’s #3 streamed song of all time. “Powerful” which features Ellie Goulding is also #27 on U.S Top 40 Radio. With this much success they’re also currently on a soon to be sold out headline tour playing dates worldwide.
