Philly band, the Cold Fronts, will return to the Johnny Brenda’s stage this November. Tickets are on sale now for this one, so be sure to grab those and head over to Fishtown on November 6th for some great local music. Cold Fronts are led by Craig Almquist, who formed the band back in 2010 while finishing school right here in the City of Brotherly Love. Over the years, the band has experienced a slew of lineup changes, having had over 15 different members at one point or another. Says Almquist, “It’s been a strange journey.”
Almquist has learned to roll with the punches, a motto that seems evident even in the title for their upcoming album, Forever Whatever. The record drops on October 23rd, and Almquist says he’s really proud of the release, stating, “I want to tour on it as long as possible, but in the meantime I want to make sure the next record is coming out in 2016.” The band recently opened for fellow Philadelphians, CRUISR, at their TLA show which also featured Philly band Cheerleader.
Joining the Cold Fronts on Friday, November 6th will be support from Chrome Party (who take the stage at 9pm), and Heyrocco (who will follow at 10pm). Cold Fronts will go on around 11pm, so be sure to rest up before the show.
