Black Sabbath will be performing at The Forum on February 11 as part of its final tour titled ‘The End.’ The current lineup consists of frontman Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, and bassist Geezer Butler. The drummer has not yet been announced. Show openers will be Rival Sons, from Long Beach, California.
Black Sabbath has been around since the 70s and is considered the founders of heavy metal. The group’s most recent album was 13, released in 2013, which awarded the band its first #1 album in America since forming. The band has been in talk about producing another record before officially splitting up, but plans to record have been confirmed.
Many acts have been influenced by Black Sabbath, including Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, Nirvana, Judas Priest, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, The Smashing Pumpkins, and more. This will be the last time the band visits Southern California, so don’t miss out!
