Electronic musician Robert DeLong will be performing at Fonda Theatre on November 28, along with Coleman Hell. DeLong is touring in support of the release of his second album In The Cards, to be released on September 18. The album will be a mix of techno, house, drum and bass, electro, and trip-hop.
In 2013, DeLong’s “Global Concepts” single became an international hit and since then he has been building a worldwide following, from dives to clubs to nearly every festival. His intensely high-energy shows were what got him signed to Glassnote, and now they carried his music around the globe.
DeLong is notable for using video-game peripherals, such as a Wii remote and a joystick, connected to a MIDI interface, to modify his sound.
